The project began in February 2024 as a prompt-driven experiment. The creator iterated on AI music prompts to capture heavy guitars, clean vocal hooks, screamed peaks, ambient textures, and anthemic post-hardcore structure.
Its fictional presentation references a four-member band persona from Lansing, Michigan, but the underlying project is openly AI-made in the spaces where the creator discusses it. That tension is part of the point: At Our Peak exists inside the debate around authenticity, effort, authorship, and the future of generated music.
